The Archiscapes team has been cranking out new plans faster than I can update the webpage – although I plan to correct that problem asap – but in the meantime I wanted to show off one of our latest gems. This sweet 2,900 sq.ft. house is fantastic. I love the classic Southern front porch that gives it such great curb appeal, but even better is the beautiful living space in the back. This plan is ideal for homes that want to take advantage of a big backyard. The large kitchen, dining and living room all open up to a giant back screened-in porch. Nanawall doors, which accordion back to the sides of the opening, means you can double the size of your living room just by pushing them open.
Upstairs, the master suite overlooks the backyard views again while a cute bunkroom and extra bedrooms on the first and second floors means you have plenty of room for guests. But my favorite part is the expansive views of the ocean this family will see when they climb to the top of the tower on the third floor.
So how do you know if this plan or another one that we have in our files is right for you? The first step (other than giving us a ring) is to make sure to send us a survey of your lot and to make a list of your “wishes” and “needs” for the new home. Budgets, deadlines and neighborhood design guidelines are all vital parts of the puzzle that are good to have in hand before we get started. Get those together, give us a ring and we can help you figure out what plan is the best fit for your future home.
We’ve got a lot more plans coming down the pipeline after this one so stay tuned for more updates to the website. In the meantime, enjoy checking out this one!
