When your lot slopes dramatically, it opens the door to all kinds of neat pool and architectural designs. This house in Ft. Walton sits on an inlet off the Bay. The owners wanted the house to sit high up on the bluff for safety from flooding, but also to feel connected to the water. The solution: a pool with an infinity edge. From the interior of the house, it looks like the pool flows directly into the bay. Once the house is completed, the waterfall effect off the pool will be equally inspiring when looking up at the house from the bay.
To really capture the full view, the house is designed with tons of French doors and large windows facing the pool and water. High ceilings with transom windows above the doors adds light and openness to the interiors.
A second story is still to come as well as a detached garage in front.
