Many times clients ask us how we initially get started coming up with ideas for their new home or office. As the only non-architect around here, it amazes me how the guys constantly think of new floor plans and elevations – each one so different from anything I have ever seen.
Nine times out of ten, the guys start with a pencil and paper, just doodling around once they kind of know the style and size of home the clients like.
Here, therefore, are a few sketches on a new home we are doing. Later this week, I’ll try to share the computer version so you can see how much things change and stay the same when we really get into the details of the project.
