The challenge in designing the new addition for the Montgomery Cancer Center was to establish a simple, yet sophisticated image while complimenting the existing building. The result is a modern design utilizing maintenance free materials such as custom aluminum panels and large panes of glass to allow for maximum natural light into the interior spaces. In an effort to create a nontraditional hospital environment, the interiors were designed with warm colors. By integrating the latest medical technologies with comprehensively designed interior and exterior environments, the Montgomery Cancer Center is a world class facility.
